Aftercare

Ensuring that you prolong the life of your new hair extensions is extremely important. The longer your extensions last the more value for money they become. We have created a small aftercare guide so that you will be able to look after your hair.

Keeping your hair clean is a must. We recommend using hair products that have a low ph and that are highly moisturising, using quality products will will seriously prolong the life of your hair extensions. You should shampoo your hair going in a downward motion, condition and rinse well. Finally brush your hair carefully and dry them with a blowdryer.

Tangling hair is always irritating so when you sleep we recommend that you lightly braid your hair to avoid extensive tangling. It is also a good idea to braid the hair if you are doing anything energetic.

Your own hair will constantly produce natural oils to ensure that it is moisturised, obviously hair extensions are no longer attached so they will no longer produce oils. Using a conditioning spray will ensure that your extensions will not dry out prematurely.

Brushing your hair can always cause damage from pulling and snagging, this is the same with extensions. Please style with care and we recommend starting from the ends and gently working your way up the hair using a brush with soft bristles.

Heat on any hair can become damaging over time. To ensure that your new SKR Hair extensions and your own hair remain in peak condition we strongly recommend using a heat protective spray before application of any high temperatures.
